Hitwise recently released this interesting report about best practice for brands who sell directly or indirectly through Amazon.
It also contains some great stats about the giants Prime Day promotion.
Did you know…
- Amazon processed 3.72m transactions on Prime Day 2017, more than on Black Friday or Cyber Monday 2016.
- At the same time it received fewer visits on Prime Day than Black Friday, meaning that customers were converting at a higher rate (estimated at 8.4%).
- Amazon.com accounted for 87% of all online transactions processed by the top 50 retailers on Prime Day 2017.
