Reports & Analytics Location: Navigation → File Downloads

The File Downloads report captures the URL of documents that customer have downloaded from our digital channels. It is used to give the volume of times these files are downloaded.

Examples of downloaded files include;

• Ring Sizer.
• Inspirational content such as recipe suggestions.
• Product information such as breakdown care documentation or instructions.

Metrics you can use in the File Downloads report;

• Instances
  • Tells you the number of times each file was downloaded.
• Visits
  • De-duped Instances to tell you the number of customers who downloaded each file. E.g. if a customer downloaded a file twice in one visit it would have 2 instances and 1 visit.

Note: Do not use the Global Nav Interaction report for sales or conversion metrics as it is a prop, or traffic variable, and conversion metrics are not tied back to it.
