Adobe analytics (previously known as “Omniture” or “SiteCatalyst”) is the core suite of Web Analytics Tools that we use at Argos. Web analytics is the collection, analysis, and understanding of user behaviour data on Digital Channels.
Some example questions that web analytics data can help to answer include;
- How many customers are visiting our digital channels and where are they coming from (referrer, marketing activity etc)?
- What do customers search for? What terms are growing in popularity?
- Key KPI’s such as Visits, Sales, Conversion, Average Order Value (from line level and category level up to total site).
- Customer journey analysis – where do customers land on the website and where do they leave? What do they do in between?
- What filters do customers interact with on listers?
- Basket analysis – when a customer buys a product or category what else is in their basket?
- How do different segments of customers behave? e.g. iOs vs Android users, customers who viewed a brand shop vs those who didn’t, customers who clicked a specific piece of content vs those who didn’t, customers who made a search etc.) Do these groups of customers spend more? Convert Higher? Prefer to search rather than browse?
